With over 26 years in the medical field and more than a decade of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, Shawntell World, APRN brings depth, perspective, and humanity to every patient relationship. She began her career in nursing in the late 1990s and became a Nurse Practitioner in 2014, with clinical experience spanning primary care, internal medicine, and rheumatology.
Throughout her career, Shawntell has cared for patients across diverse backgrounds and complex health journeys. That experience shaped her belief that the most meaningful outcomes don’t come from authority or one-size-fits-all medicine, but from collaboration, trust, and understanding. She does not view healthcare as a relationship of superiority — but as a partnership, where provider and patient work together toward shared goals.
